Realme 12 Pro+ 5G Users Can Now Get Early Access to Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0
Realme has launched an early access program for the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone in India, allowing users to experience the Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 before its official release. This beta program provides users with an early look at the new features, including a redesigned interface with new icons, animations, and customizable "flux themes," improvements to the notification system, and an enhanced photo editing experience. Users can also manage documents more efficiently with the new Documents app, which utilizes AI technology for simplified document processing. The update also enhances privacy with improvements to the Private Safe feature and a new home screen entry for hidden apps. Those interested in participating in the early access program can apply through the Software Update Application channel in their device settings. The rollout for other realme phone models is yet to be announced.
What's New in Realme UI 6.0?
Realme UI 6.0 brings several exciting features to enhance your experience:
1. Flux Themes:
The interface has a fresh new look with cool animations, new icons, and "flux themes" you can customize. You can even personalize your home screen and lock screen!
• Introduces new flux themes with a huge collection of high-quality themes. Customise them with system wallpapers and photos for your unique touch.
• Introduces customisation for Always-On Display, the Lock screen and the Home screen. Always-On Display supports flux and classic modes. The Lock screen supports clock colour blending, glass textures, blurred wallpapers, AI depth effects, AI auto-fills and more. The Home screen supports glass patterns, blurred wallpapers and more.
2. Improved Notifications:
The Live Alerts have a new design that's easier to read. You can tap a notification to see more details and easily switch between them.
• Optimises the way you interact with Live Alerts capsules – just tap a capsule and see it expand into a card. You can quickly switch between multiple live activities simply by swiping left or right on the capsules in the status bar, making it more efficient to view information.
• Introduces a new Live Alerts animation system featuring elastic design, seamless expansion and dynamic real-time blur to enhance the visuals of cards.
3. Live Photos:
Realme UI 6.0 offers more ways to edit your pictures, including a cool Livephoto feature. It also remembers your editing preferences, so you don't have to start from scratch each time.
• Adds the Livephoto feature with additional focal lengths, portrait retouching, cover photo editing and ProXDR effects for cover photos.
• Extends live photo duration to up to 3 seconds, capturing more of life's precious moments.
4. AIDocuments:
Manage all your documents in one place with the new Documents app. It's completely free and uses AI to make things easier.
• Introduces the Documents app to manage, view and edit various types of documents in one place. The app is completely ad- and cost-free, enhanced with AI-generated content (AIGC) technology to simplify document processing tasks.
• Introduces the ability to search for files in selected chat apps. You can now more easily find files that you've received and opened, making it easier to search the apps for files such as documents.
5. Multitasking Made Easy:
Switch between apps seamlessly and resize split-screen windows effortlessly with new gestures.
6. Enhanced Privacy:
The Private Safe is better than ever, and you can now easily access your hidden apps from the home screen.

How to Join the Early Access Program?
- Make sure your Realme 12 Pro+ 5G has at least 60% battery and more than 15GB of free space.
- Update your phone to the latest software version.
- Enable Developer Mode in your phone's settings.
- Go to Settings > About device > Tap the "Realme UI 5.0" banner > Tap the three dots > Beta program > Early Access > Apply Now.
- Submit your information, and you're all set!
Remember: Early access software might have some bugs, so it's best not to install it on your main phone.
